About Me
I am a Michigan-based writer and editor with over six years of experience.
My passion for writing was born in the newsroom of my college newspaper. I wrote just about everything from small businesses, personality profiles, community events, and beyond. This gave me the opportunity to rise the ranks from staff writer to news/campus life editor, then managing editor, and finally editor in chief. I wrote over 90 articles, edited hundreds of others, and brought back the print newspaper as editor-in-chief after a COVID-induced hiatus.
With five years of experience, I am able to cover a wide variety of topics and adapt to your needs. My skill set includes writing, editing, researching, interviewing, and content redistribution. I aim to provide a clear, concise and engaging service with communicative cooperation and actionable growth.
I have received first-place awards for Sports Feature, First Amendment Reporting, Headline Writing and honorable mentions for Critical Review from the Michigan Community College Press Association, as well as second place for Feature Story from the Michigan Press Association.
